I loved this book but just not as much as the first one! I am enamoured with the character Nina Ford and how she carries herself through life! I loved how zeal, curiosity and desire to stay true to herself (which I not sure comes across in a lot of books that have plus size main characters!). She was easily the best part of this book.
The romance was okay. It's just a matter of personal taste, but because Nina already had a roster (an excellent one, so that all her needs were met) and knew the 'fun one' really well, it didn't feel like there was a clear boundary between them just dating and them being in love since there wasn't really a difference. The 'fun one' (forgot his name) was cool but it didn't really feel like he had his own personality outside of Mr. Hotshot CEO.
I will say for quite a while the book felt kind of boring because there were no real 'stakes' until nearly halfway whenNina gets booked to do a campaign with RLF and they find out that mr fun one is the CEO of that company and her boss and even then, there weren't really any stakes since after a while they decide to continue seeing each other. .
Overall, it was a fun and light-hearted enjoyable read.
