The prose was not on a level that I could appreciate, and the dialogue & descriptors, particularly at "spicy"/intimate moments, was not personally appealing.
MILD SPOILERS(?)
However, I won't begrudge an author for actually writing a narrative that, while at times felt overly extensive, is at least preferable to an entirely shallow plot. FMC feels dragged through most of the story as someone who has things happen to her, but does eventually gain some autonomy. MMC is, for me, what made the story worth finishing. While his verbiage can be a bit vulgar at times, his character traits in and of themselves are desirable and did (though I hate to admit it) make me want to read more about him. I am typically drawn to narrative, but for all of the interwoven lore of this story, I only find myself caring about what state MMC would be in by the final page.
So, that being said (and I not being a terribly reliable source for smnt reviews, given my singular tastes), while the descriptors of scenes, the dialogue, and the overarching plot were not my cup of tea, I can attest that I found the devotion and unbridled pining from MMC the most drawing point of the story.
