One of my all time favorite book. Period.
Maybe Someday was the second Colleen Hoover book I ever read and I couldn’t be more happier with the decision.
First and foremost, the music. I loved the lyrics in this book. Obsessed over them, and then discovered Griffin Peterson had music to go with it. Be still my heart. I listened to the soundtrack on repeat for months! I truly loved this book.
I don’t know how well this represents the deaf community as I am not personally exposed to their culture, but from a reading and entertaining standpoint, I love how Ridge was described.
I truly enjoyed the relationship building in this story, not only between leads but the side characters as well. These characters are so complex, and have such layered emotions towards each other, all of them. I loved the angst and teasing that went on. I loved the way Sydney and Ridge work together to create music that is truly beautiful when you read it and listen to it.
I cant explain why Ridge and Sydney have my heart so much, but they do. They are my absolute favorite characters in the world.

Though I feel it is controversial, I loved Sydney and Ridge’s slow burn romance. I loved Maggie as a character and appreciated she recognized Ridge’s good heart but that she was holding him back.I truly enjoyed the relationship building in this story, not only between leads but the side characters as well.
