I really enjoy Lisa Jewel’s style of writing. Her stories have a way of drawing me in to the point where I’m completely absorbed and unaware of my surroundings. I have on occasion missed my subway stop while reading one of her books. That being said, I don’t think this was her strongest novel. While it was definitely entertaining and by no means bad, I just found it was way too predictable for me. While some of her other novels kept me guessing until the very end, this one I was able to figure out very early on.
