First, I want to explain my "it's complicated" for cast diversity. While there is an MM pairing, I think thus far, everyone else appears heterosexual, cis, and white. I don't think I saw any diversity otherwise. I didn't catch mentions of different skin colors, no other LGBTQIA+ representation, no neurodiversity rep, and honestly, no disability rep aside from elders and their achy bones, which I guess is something.

Now, for the meat and potatoes of the story, this is a perfect representation of a book with spice we've come to know from Veronica Eden (as Luna Lark in this instance). She's written a man/men (πŸ‘€LIAM) that you can be grouchy with until he proves himself, and then says all the right raunchy things. 🀣 Plus, obviously, some groveling. I think there could have been more depth to their relationship, more build-up to earning forgiveness, and just a little more depth overall. I just felt like we stayed pretty surface-level, but this is a good choice if you're looking for a quick read.

There's, of course, more plot to this than just Caden's groveling and subsequent worship behavior that any shifter romance girlie is used to; we also get pack politics and a quick intro to neighboring packs. Along with some other interesting girlies that I hope come back around for some more sneaky saves 😏

Tl;dr - Shifter romance with groveling wins again. Give me more side characters stories please. kthnxbye

I'd like to thank Luna for the ARC of this story. All thoughts are my own. πŸ–€
