Gender: A Graphic Guide by Meg-John Barker

challenging informative reflective slow-paced

4.0

If you are ready to go deeper into the concepts of gender and dabble in queer theory, this is the book for you. Cleverly illustrated and clearly written, it pulls no punches in describing gender in a neat hundred pages, though some might find it academic. This truly is meant to be an introduction to dismantling complex topics and challenging the reader to rethink the paradigm nearly all of us are born into. This is a book you chew, not devour.
