Not as good as the first since I felt this was almost a carbon copy of Distance. But what really got to me was

at the end of Distance it clearly said Keller and Sienna were adopting Max in the epilogue after the baby was born. Max was mentioned a single time in Detonate with nothing to corroborate they adopted him successfully, while they mentioned the new baby a bunch. I know this wasn't their book but it would have been so simple to include Max when the baby was mentioned. It made me feel like the author forgot they were adopting Max when she wrote Detonate. And I really wish more romance books highlighted adoption and it would have been so easy to mention Max in this one.
