Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage: Stories by Alice Munro

5.0

The depths of character, full of everyday tragedy, are incredibly composed, masterfully executed. Each story brought me close to a fully formed world and lovingly detailed characters, that I've rarely experienced even in novels ten times the length. "Nettles" was my favorite here, though it's a favorite of favorites. A must read.
