A surprising, lovely story about two young people who fall in and out of love in London on a vacation and find themselves working together years later, with a second chance at love.
I love Christina Lauren so much. I can always count on their stories being equal parts heartfelt and just plain fun. I particularly enjoyed two things about this book - the second chance romance trope goin' on and the compulsively interesting backdrop of Tate's big secret and subsequent career in Hollywood. What we get in this book - daddy issues; teenage AND abroad love at first sight; betrayal; so! many! secrets!; fame; more daddy issues. It's all very good. This is a wonderful place for non-romance readers to start if they're cautiously entering into the genre. The romance is sweet and very tame - 1.5 out of 5 on the sexiness meter. I can see romance veterans being underwhelmed with the heat and depth of the relationship, but I found it endearing and exactly what I wanted in a fun, fascinating, super quick contemporary romance read.
