Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka (Audiobook)

The esteemed Franz Kafka has written a novel based upon the inner workings of an unfortunate family crisis. One that delves deep into the psyche of what happens when the breadwinner of the family goes through a metamorphosis, literally. The premise is one of outlandish proportions but poignant nonetheless. The reader, or listener in this case, is challenged to look beyond the surface and discover the complexities that lie within. What is Kafka trying to say? A book that is certainly open for each individual's interpretation, but one remaining constant is our empathetic feelings for our main character, Gregor Samsa. Highly recommended!

This audiobook version was narrated by Martin Jarvis. He does a splendid job keeping the listener engaged throughout. The mic audio was a tad wonky on my listening experience, but Jarvis' smooth and exciting delivery still made this a great experience.
