Way too long. I don't think I'm a fan of this author's writing style. It comes across as pretentious to me. I kept plugging along to see it through to the end, but it felt like a a marathon to no finish line.
The most interesting parts were the (awful) character's back stories and their traumatic upbringings. Besides that, this book was unnecessarily wordy.
Favorite review I saw was something like "presented as a burrito, could have been a taco." Spot on.
