Dear Heart, I Hate You by J. Sterling
4.0

Jules is a career-focused woman with no intentions on changing. Until she meets an equally career-focused man in Boston while at a conference anyway. Cal is the man of her dreams in so many ways. She can't bring herself to a one-night-stand but he can't tell her he won't see her again, even if she's living in Malibu and he's in Boston.

This was such a heartfelt story. Jules is open and vulnerable, Cal is too logical for his own good, but their long distance relationship is so sweet. They make time for each other, they send each other messages knowing the time difference means they'll get them when they wake up. There aren't many LDRs in romances but I loved this one. Their struggle is real and relatable, but thankfully it still has an HEA ending.
