i love anything that leaves me feeling weird and wondering what the Fuck i just read so i liked this i think! the writing style was distanced and dry but to me it felt deliberate and wanted by the author, not much pretentious or like he just cant write engagingly - it just fit really well with the character i think. the entire thing felt like gabriel was unraveling at the seams (spoiler:
he literally was lol which was great
) which i found super interesting. the book wasnt life changing but i think the way it was so disorientating and weird was a fun read, especially because i havent read much weird shit this year yet so! yay!
