Percy's internal dialogue and the modern characterisation of familiar Greek gods and goddesses provides entertainment during reading. The world-building within the universe of the Western Civilisation is engaging enough to feel that you may think some events in real life that are unexplainable, may actually involve our Greek gods and goddesses.
