jrd_reads 's review for:
Summer of '69
by Elin Hilderbrand
This is the worst kind of review, but this book was fine. This was a monumental year in US history and everything that could have had an impact on this family. Vietnam, the space launch, civil rights, interracial relationship, domestic violence, Chappaquiddick, etc. etc. I believe that this book is what would be described as a "beach read". I am not complaining - this was a good read during quarantine
as it did not require much thinking and was easy to follow.
