adventurous
emotional
medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven:
A mix
Loveable characters:

Flaws of characters a main focus:
Yes
Friends to enemies to friends to lovers
Road trip
Forced proximity
There are few of my loved topics which made me interested in reading this book and I truly enjoyed reading the first half of the book. But after that it dragged, there was repetitive conflicts and to be honest I didn't like the excessive use of crude words and pop culture references and on top of them I couldn't like Logan till the end. I don't like people who consciously and deliberately hurt others. I don't like loud and rude people. She wasn't a well written character and the justification of her behavior didn't work for me.
I loved the relationship between Joe and his students who become his friends- Rosemary and Logan, but he wanted too much from them and at the end I was somehow irritated with him.
I had to skim through the last part when they were in Main because taking care of a cancer patient on his last days/weeks was too close to my heart and I didn't want to be triggered by the loss of my loved ones.
I think if the book was about reconciliation of Logan and Rosemary and the blossoming of their friendship along this road trip, I would have liked it better.
