Legacy of Lies by Robert Bailey

The General is on trial for killing her ex-husband and an exonerated but still lacking confidence lawyer, Bo, agrees to resurrect his law practice to defend her. This was a good enough legal thriller to keep me reading and wanting to find out the end. Despite it being the first in a series, it clearly is beneficial to read the entire series before this one to really appreciate all of the plot.
