The Disappearing Act: The Impossible Case of MH370 by Florence de Changy

4.0

Only knocking off a point for the irreverent (French) tone, but the book itself is intriguing. Essentially debunks the official narrative of a depressed pilot and disappearing in the Indian Ocean in favour of a crash in the South China Sea. Ignore the hyper around the US involvement, it's a fun speculative part of the book that is not indicative of the full picture. It's more of a "how might these loose ends connect" theory. I can't find anything debunking her and some of the negative Goodreads comments are suspicious.

I found the trail of misinformation, media hype train and failing experts that Florence exposes to be a fascinating precursor to the Covid farce we all lived through. Don't attribute anything to malice that can be better attributed to fear.
