The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood

3.0

It felt like the book missed a revised draft or two. It's about a girl who doesn't want to follow what she was destined to do. She decides to leave with a man she doesn't know and become an assassin for him and spends the rest of her life serving him. Later on she is not sure if she wants to keep living her life serving the man she feels like she owes it to him for "saving her life."

I am a person who prefers little world building. Just enough to get the gist across. This book is so vague that I'm not really sure what the people looked like or the transportation. This needed more detail.

Personalities fell flat and was irked that no one had to be really convinced to leave the only lives they knew (it happens twice in the book)
