This was interesting, but not bad. It started off strong, then the middle dipped quite a bit. Thankfully, it picked up pace and intrigue about 3/4 of the way through. I enjoyed the flipping between past and present tense, I found the theater inserts interesting and symbolic of victimhood and audience and all that.
The writing itself was almost trance-like, it felt like sleep walking if that makes sense. It was quite a bit sad, I think the lead-up to the ultimate death was more sad than the actual event.
