Trust No One by Jayne Ann Krentz

4.0

When Grace Elland's boss was murdered, she flashes back to a murder she was involved in when just 16 years old. Now back in Cloud Lake to consider her career opportunities, she finds herself enlisting the aid of financial wizard Julius Arkwright to organize a plan of action. And there is also the matter of her email stalker.

A bit of a slow start to this one for me despite the finding of Witherspoon's body in the beginning. Once I was a chapter or two in, it began to flow better. As usual with Krentz's characters, we're given strong women and men, not only in just the hero and heroine. Mysteries and hidden pasts abound here. The positive affirmation hook actually became more interesting as the book went on rather than annoying me, as I was afraid would happen. 4 out of 5.
