Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
4.0
A TIMELESS CLASSIC
The plot, is a simple homely, an archetypal love story- two opposing characters- priggish and somewhat supercilious Mr. Darcy and a girl of sense and spirit, Elizabeth Bennet, who seemed conflicting primordial , but as it turned out, not irreconcilably incompatible in Toto, for the plot quite convincingly journeys through their squabbles to ultimately their wedlock when pride and prejudice are, at length conquered.
Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, the protagonists, are perchance the greatest proof that Austen, however much criticised, was far ahead of her time.
