Mugen Spiral, Vol. 02 by Mizuho Kusanagi

2.0

Concluding (and inconclusive) volume of the series, where nothing really changes: Ura and Yayoi continue to dance around their feelings for each other; Ura's father continues to be on his deathbed, waiting for Ura to take (eat) Yayoi's power and go.

This series is frustrating not because it's bad, but because it's so mediocre and could so easily be better with a little effort, like making sure the protagonists changed over the course of the series, or having an actual plot. It is fine fanfic fodder and if I were sixteen, I'd have happily filled in all the gaps myself.
