3.5; Aiden is the single best character in this series. Not a big fan of the art style and this volume really reminded me of that more than the first two. Not a fan of when
the coach decided to put both Nicolas and Eugene as the reserve, it just feels like a cop out; sometimes difficult decisions need to be made and its just annoying and juvenile to change the rules around to include both of them. I just think there was a better way to approach this.
This volume also made me realize how forgettable the story is across all volumes- it’s something fun you read when you’re bored, but it’s not anything life changing. Although the volume itself reads quickly, across the three volumes so far all that has happened is that there were tryouts for the team- literally nothing has happened beyond that and it took wayyy too long.
