I really enjoy her podcast and she's open and sweet and truly likable, but I never managed to connect to how she was telling her story. I think I appreciate her type of candor and openness better when she's interacting with others and has a sounding board off of which to spread her ideas.
It's not a bad book in that it definitely caught my attention, but I confess to coming into it expecting more laughs and walked away feeling like it never hit my funny bone. That said, she says herself that she's never been particularly funny and that her becoming a comedic actress happened almost totally by happenstance, so I might have just been a victim of faulty advertising and erroneous hype.
