trigger warnings: mention of cancer, death, nudity

it was absolutely not a good idea to pick up another painful book after sword of kaigen but im stupid and we move-

this is a graphic novel about a grandpa, father, and husband who is diagnosed with cancer and his journey trying to live the last of his life to the fullest with his family. it's about his family members dealing with the grief and shock of losing a beloved family member. it was super cool to see three different generations worth of thoughts and feelings! i especially loved the granddaughter. she was so cute and her friendship with that little boy was so wholesome:) i was taken aback by the nudity but the art was still super freaking cool and thought provoking. overall, this was a solid read and i seriously recommend it!
