Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I would have never thought that I would enjoy a classic as much as this.
The time period in which this was written in, gave a really good insight into what society was like for women getting married for more status and money than love.
I did think there would be more interaction between Mr Darcy and Elizabeth near the end of the book, however I do understand that the book is also a monologue of Elizabeth's inner thoughts when she tries to please everyone yet also marry the man that she loves.
I am definitely going to make reading classics a target for me, even if its once a month. I will also watch a few adaptations of this book, as I think seeing it come to live will enhance my enjoyment.
