A few things...this story has been adapted on the TV series of Bosch - Season 6. Usually, this would make the story BETTER for me, but on this one...it was too short, and felt like the story was not as strong.
I felt the same way about S6 of Bosch, too.
I still enjoyed the Bosch moments, and there were numbers of them, but the way this book ended, just wasn't as satisfying as the previous books.
Too quick, and not as good.
It is NOT a bad story, but it just didn't scratch THAT itch, at least for me.
On to the next novel in the series, Nine Dragons.
