Quackery: A Brief History of the Worst Ways to Cure Everything by Nate Pedersen, Lydia Kang

Did not finish book. Stopped at 12%.

While this book does have some interesting information, I think the way it presents the information isn’t great. This was informative but it was also gross with the descriptions at times. I have read multiple medical history books with graphic depictions without being gruesome but this book fails at that, and I didn’t even get too far in. It also frequently throws humor into it which got old quickly or felt out of place in the context of the information. I am just not really enjoying this book and how it presents information.
