As we know from the previous two books Abigail and Nathan are enemies to lovers. She dislikes him for how involved he got with her late husbands scandal. He dislikes her because she dislikes him. At a party they talk and she makes a bet. After she wins he asks for the chance to win his money back. After some escalation they get caught getting intimate by a gossip and decide the best course of action is marriage.
I loved the wagers between these two. This book didn’t follow the normal formula. Everything was resolved neat and tidy pretty easily. Especially when you consider the drama from the other two books.
Overall book ⭐️⭐️⭐️
