This was a 2.5 read for me. I felt that throughout the storyline things were said or stated that should've been elaborated on or followed up but they weren't. This is a contemporary story and I also had a hard time with a few instances being realistic. I'm no medical professional but if you almost die from blood loss (insinuated) I have a hard time believing you are at an event cheering your friend on basically 2 days later.
