Dear Aaron
by Mariana Zapata
Having read all of Mariana Zapata's books but one, I'd have to say this is a departure from her norm. The slow-burn romance is there, but it tends to be kind of angsty. That said, it's totally understandable behavior from both characters.
On audio the letters, emails and IM's are easy to follow. Callie Dalton is always great and Teddy Hamilton was also good at capturing the voice of Aaron. He sounded just as I imagined.
So overall not my favorite Zapata book, but still definitely a good one. That's the trouble with good authors - they give you one fantastic book after the next and then the bar keeps getting set higher. If this were her first or second book, I'm sure I'd have an even higher opinion of it.
