Under a White Sky by Elizabeth Kolbert

5.0

I don’t give 5 stars to many books, but this one earned every single one. I don’t read many nonfiction books and this was a college summer reading book so I had low expectations going into it. I was surprised at how engaging it was and it has really prompted me to contemplate a lot of things that U haven’t paid much kind to before. There is so much to unpack here (so much that we’re dedicating 4.5 hours to discussion in school) so I won’t get into the details, but for anyone who is even slightly interested in reading about the environment and human nature, there is something in here for you. Overall, such a beautifully written book that was interesting, easy to follow, and seriously important. Please read it, I promise you won’t regret it.
