Midnight Lily
by Mia Sheridan
This is the first Mia Sheridan book that left me confused at the end.
Throughout the story I bounced from 3 to 4 back to 3 and then back to 4 stars but the epilogue made me question what was real and what wasn't.
The first half of the book felt unreal... It felt too easy. And then WHAM halfway through we got a shocker and that became a nice game changer. I can't tell any more details than that without spoiling the book. But then once I felt like the story was ending nicely the epilogue threw me into "confuddlement"!
Not my fave and I definitely wouldn't recommend this if you haven't read Sheridan before.
