What. The. FUCK.
Four books concluding with this. So much going on, unbelievable.
This series is one of my faves of all time, and this book is wild.
I’d say this is the weakest of the four, a bit meandering in the middle but fully kicks in on the last quarter. Some of the revelations that we have been waiting for over these thousands of pages are just thrown out in monologues which feel a tad unearned. The story and the twists are still amazing, but it felt like a wasted opportunity when the first two books set up so much. It was still a fun ride, and the Shrike will about be in my heart. (Probably through my heart with a 7 foot spike)
