I am a sucker for the whole wellness guru meets evil trope. That coupled with pagan lore in a small seaside village! Yes this book has ALL the fun tropes.
Fun page turner, albeit long, when you need to meet your reading goal for the year. I’m surprised that so many complained about how they had no idea what was going on with all the characters and plots. I was going to commend Foley because I had no trouble following along with the many POVs and plot lines, except a couple moments toward the end I found myself having to think twice about which character we were talking about.
