Gorgeous illustrations as always. I loved seeing the references to other works of Neil Gaiman. It's like a small reward for following his work for so long :)

There are lots of things to take away from this book but there was one scentence that really stuck with me. "What's the point in making something you know is going to work?" I struggle with accepting that making mistakes is okay. I tend to stay in my comfort zone because I feel like if I try something else it'll suck. But without sucking you won't ever not suck it's ironic haha.

The writing seems to be snippets of essays and other things Neil has written before. I recognized some of them from the 'view from cheap seats' book. That's not a point of criticism btw just an observation.

I think I'll revisit this book if I ever need some motivation because damn it's inspiring :)
