Give Me a Reason
by A.L. Jackson
Thoughts:
I’m obsessed with Trent and Eden. The angst and suspense was just elite. It starts off with Eden needing to make extra money, and she waits on Trent to interview for a server position. I loved this little meetup. He’s such a bad boy type with ties to a motorcycle gang, and she’s the preacher’s daughter who’s also a teacher. Perfect duo. Definitely gives ’touch her and you die vibes’.
Plot: Trent has been stowed away in this town to keep away from his past life. He’s raising his son as a single dad with the help of his brothers. Tent is the owner of the local biker bar, where he meets Eden. Eden’s family has come across some financial hardships, and she will do anything to keep her dad out of financial turmoil. She in turn goes to the biker bar to get a server job to help her father. Relentless, she stays until Trent shows up to plead for the job. The moment he saw her, he knew this was no place for her and that there was a pull to her. Still, he hires her. The first night is a rough night, and he thinks she will quit. The next day when he takes his son to school, he finds that his son’s new teacher is none other than Eden. Convenient. Now she works for him and teaches the son. Trouble arises from Trent’s past, and it starts to threaten their relationship that had formed.
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
