City of Glass by Paul Auster

This is a mystery book in the sense that, it is a mystery as to what the book was all about. Perhaps the author didn't intend for the story to be resolved meaningful and introducing a character with the same name as his, didn't make things any clearer. This book is rife with "duality", in the sense that throughout the story there were a lot of instances of two different characters with the same name. One of the character laments that our language limits our understanding of the world and perhaps the author included these characters with the same name to highlight this flaw. Nevertheless, I enjoyed some of the interesting theories that the author included (Humpty Dumpty, Night and Day) and I feel this deserves a second read.
