I just spent 12 hours reading this book because i NEEDED to KNOW! I needed to know what was going on with sophie and bianca. Then i needed to know what was going on with bianca. Then sophie then, both of them. Then the citizens. I was entirely enthralled, the storytelling is amazing. I know sci-fi isn’t the easiest to read but anders really captures emotions through imagery. Sometimes feelings are beyond words but this author seems to know and understand that and has created a whole society who live a life rooted in communication through images and feelings beyonds words. This book is brilliant.
