The narrators did a ok job but with so many characters some of the voice choices weren’t my favorite. The biggest issue was the story development. Maybe because it was a kindle vella story to start, but it seemed like the author was making changes to the story as they went. But after the story was compiled there wasn’t an effort to clean it up. My other is that’s clear the author wanted to use misdirection to leave the reader in suspense but it mostly just read and chaotic. As a concept the story has my interest but I’m not loving the execution. I’m willing to stick it out, but I’m hoping for a cleaner story with a clearer direction.
