Read this book if you're looking for: rock and roll, coming of age, an emotional roller coaster, slow build, interview style writing, multiple points of view
.
When I started this book I wasn’t sure I’d like it. It had been so heavily recommended, it was all over TikTok and bookstagram, and there’s a show being made about the book. (SUPER HYPED) It was written like an interview with everyone’s points of view included. I’ll be honest .. the first few chapters it was a lot to understand. But once you really get into the characters, and start to get invested in their lives it PULLS YOU IN. You want to root for Daisy but also think she’s absolutely insane for the decisions she makes.
At the end of the book you read one little part that will make you go OH OKAY! THAT makes sense.. but trust me. It’s all worth it. My first 5 star read in a while.

👀 I would highly suggest looking up trigger warnings before reading this book

The quote everyone is using but I had to include: “I had no interest in being somebody else’s muse. I am not a muse. I am the somebody. End of f*cking story” Daisy Jones is such a kick ass character. 💪🏼
