Maybe more 3.5 stars rounded up. Overall, I enjoyed the book and the ending left things in a very interesting place.
But, I feel like the book wasn’t done with editing? There were some sentences here and there that didn’t make sense, and some spots that definitely could have flowed better. Also, there were inconsistencies that should have been picked up in another round of editing (ex: Evalyn was sometimes spelled Evelyn). I get that the author probably wanted to get it out, but it definitely needed a little polishing.
I definitely will read the next book and look forward to it!
