I really enjoyed this dystopian novel. It fits me well because not only do we see the aftermath of the cataclysmic event, but we see what led to it. That is my cup of tea. I always want to know what happened to cause the apocalypse and not nearly enough books fulfill that desire. That being said, I know this is a trilogy but I am stopping at book one. I feel like the first book dragged on too long and I definitely do not need another 1200+ pages to finish out the story. In my mind, it's closed.
