Pet Sematary by Stephen King

5.0

Pet Semetary will forever have a place in my heart and my head. It was the first 'adult' book I ever read. Even though it's been more years than I care to count, I can still remember the sight of that creepy looking cat starting at me out of the corner store paperback rack, the jagged lettering, and the unmistakable mispelling of Semetary. I knew I had to have it, even though my parents disapproved, and my teachers weren't comfortable having it in class.

I have gone back and reread the novel multiple times over the years, and the magic never fades. My first, and still my favourite of all King's novels.
