Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse

5.0

I read the book in parallel in German and English because I wanted to get "the full experience". I honestly think this was the first book I read written by a German author.

I was fascinated by it and I could find pieces of myself in Harry Heller, but I guess anyone could.
Often times it made me sad, it got me thinking about life and the meaning of it and sometimes about how pointless it is.
But as approaching the end of the book, I ended up having hope for him and his soul and inevitably for mine too.
