Voice of the Gods

Really this is a 3.5 star read. I don't often want to half star but this is very middle ground.
Parts were slow, parts were much more exciting that the rest of the series. The world building into other lands and exploring of the other religion were interesting. The plot twisted near the end in exciting ways that I half remembered from reading this series 10 years ago.
Overall it was the best installment but I found there to be too much dialogue which often repeated itself which rather felt like it was dumbing down the reading age. However this is an adult read and whilst the content isn't necessarily explicit there is mention of rape and prostitution in the series that make it need to be rated adult.
