I really wanted this book to deliver a “wow” moment for me, but unfortunately, it lost me about 70% of the way through due to the repetitiveness of the story. I can see how some readers might find it reflective or even life-changing, but sadly, that just went right over my head. 🤷🏻♀️
That said, I’m glad I gave it a try—it’s been on my list for a long time, and I’d love to hear other people’s perspectives on it and how it impacted them. While it didn’t resonate with me personally, I did read it in French, and I found the language much more beautiful and fluid compared to the English version, which added to my overall experience. 🤭
Unfortunately, this one just didn’t leave a lasting impression on me, but I’m still glad I finally crossed it off my list.
