When Jaya crash lands on an alien penal colony, she has no choice but to temporarily marry an alien cowboy so she can stay on the planet to fix her ship. Yea, yea, I know it sounds so ridiculous, but trust me, it is SO MUCH FUN. Our (virgin) alien cowboy, Oaken, is over the moon about having Jaya as a wife, even if it's only temporary.

For those who are up to date with this series, I'm sure we were all anticipating Oaken's book and ooooh did he live up to my expectations. I think Oaken is the sweetest alien cowboy so far, and that's saying something because the other alien cowboys also have my heart. It was interesting to see Jaya's (very realistic) reaction after finding out the truth about the planet from the get-go. But oooh the way she softened as she got to know Oaken for the sweetheart that he is. It was all so sweet and fluffy and ugh delicious. I freaking love this series lol.

I wish I could be Oaken's wife, but alas LOL. It's okay, though, because Jaya knows that she hit the jackpot.
