Is this one of the best books I've read in a looong time? YES. Are the characters constantly on my mind? ABSOLUTELY. Will I think about it even now after finishing it? 100%!! ⭐
With all the hype and positive reviews going around I had SUPER HIGH expectations and I'm so, so happy that the book still lived up to them - the writing was nice and very easy to get into. I loved the detailed descriptions of the world, Basgiath and just in general.
The characters were all so incredible likeable! Violet is such a strong MC - I loved how smart she is and always found a way to prove herself. As for Xaden... well I almost immediately fell for him - I mean, what else did I expect? - and felt like a teenager with all the feels. I grinned from ear to ear during some scene and couldn't help but smile whenever I read about him... ughhh!
